Upgrading Drives (C1154J/K/L, C1158J/K/L Kits)

Step 3: Mount the Three Drive Enclosures (With Drives) in the

Lower Drive Area

1. Remove the cover plates for drive positions #4, #5, and #6 (see Figure 2-8.

Remove the two T-20 screws on each plate.

2. Insert the three enclosures into the three open drive mount locations in the lower

drive area.

3. Secure the enclosures with two T-20 screws on each side.

4. Connect the cables from the all drive enclosures to the interposer PCA.

• #1 - drive power cable (for both drives)

• #2 - drive interface cable (split, one for each drive)

• #3 - drive enclosure fan power cable

• #4 - SCSI cable (to both drives)
