Unpersisting a Single Product
You can unpersist a single product in a persisted fabric if the product is no longer
part of the fabric. When a product is unpersisted, the connections associated with
that product are also removed. The persisted fabric’s data is updated with the
changes.
To unpersist a product, perform the following:
1. Right-click the product in the Physical Map or Product List, then choose
Unpersist Fabric. A confirmation box displays, as shown in Figure 52.
2. Click OK.
Graphic Indicators Related to Persisted Fabrics
There are various ways to determine the status of persisted fabrics and persisted
products. Real-time changes to the fabric display on the Physical Map and the
Product List and are listed in the Fabric Log.
Determining a Persisted Fabric’s Status
The fabric’s status is reflected by the green circle indicator that displays on the
fabric icon on the Physical Map and in the Product List (Figure 53 and Figure 54,
respectively). See “Product Status Icons” on page 272 for a list of status icon
definitions.
