2-5 Using Provisioning Manager Windows

This section describes the frames that make up the Provisioning Manager window and also items shown in the

pop-up window. Figure 2-7 shows the frames that make up the Provisioning Manager window.

The names and purposes of the frames are described below:

• Menu-bar frame (section 2-5-1 )

The menu-bar frame provides commands concerning overall operations of Provisioning Manager, such as

logging out and showing the version information. When a command is selected, the associated pop-up

dialog box is displayed.

• Navigation frame (section

2-5-2 )

The navigation frame lets you select a target on which you want to perform an operation by using

Provisioning Manager. When an item is selected in this frame, the subwindows to start the selected

operation are displayed in the method frame and the information frame.

The window displayed in each frame is called a subwindow in this manual.

• Method frame (section 2-5-3 )

The method frame lets you select the operation you want to start. When an item is selected, a subwindow

is displayed in the information frame. A pop-up dialog box might appear instead.

• Information frame (section

2-5-4 )

The information frame shows the information necessary for various settings in the table format.
