Type — Displays the task type initiated for a device group (Discovery, Verify, Assess Only, Assess and
Remediate). A task cannot be created for an individual device.

Policy —Displays the policy used by the task.

Group — Displays the hierarchy of a device group and indicates whether a task is for an individual
device or on multiple devices that belong to a single or multiple groups.

Last Run — Displays the last time a task was run.
–
Frequency — Displays the frequency at which a task is scheduled as applicable.

Next Run — Displays when a task is available to run.
Modify a task
You can start, edit, and delete a task using the Task toolbar icons.
To re-run a discovery, follow these steps:
1. On the Tasks page, select a task in the Task list panel.
2. Click the Start icon in the Task toolbar.
The Start icon is disabled when a task is in the running state.
To edit a task, follow these steps:
NOTE: A task type cannot be changed. For example, an assessment task cannot be changed to a remediation
task.
1. On the Tasks page, select a task in the Task list panel.
2. Click the Edit icon in the Task toolbar.
3. On the Edit Task window, select the options to edit, and then click Save.
NOTE: The Task Type will be disabled if a group is not selected from Selected Groups.
To delete a task, follow these steps:
1. On the Tasks page, select a task in the Task list panel.
2. Click the Delete icon in the Task toolbar.
3. Select Delete to conrm the task deletion.

Select Cancel.
View assessment results
The results of an assessment can be viewed from the Devices page or Reports page.
