LED Error Codes

This section contains information about the error codes displayed by the LEDs on

the system’s front panel.

If an error occurs during the power

–up diaa~ostics tests,the diagnostics use the

front panel LEDs to display a code for the failing component.

Figure 4– 1 shows the location of the systemunit’s front panel LEDs. There are

ni~e LEDs on the front panel. The green LED on the far right indicates that the

systemis powered up. The amber LEDs labeled 1 through 8. right to left, indicate

systemstatusand error codes.

Table 4– 1through Table 4–4 show the LED codes as they appear on the panel

display. Use these LED codes to determine the failing component.
