To clear jams at the end of a page

1 Remove any pages from the ADF input tray.

2 Remove the input tray from the ADF.

3 Gently pull the paper out of the ADF in the feeding direction

(towards you).

4 If you still cannot remove the paper from the ADF, lift the ADF lid to

its fully open position, loosen the jammed paper from the roller at

the rear of of the ADF lid, pull it gently from the ADF.

5 When you have successfully cleared the jam, attach the input tray

and close the hatch. Press down firmly on both sides until you hear

a click.

6 Restack all pages and reload them into the ADF.

7 On the ADF prompt on the computer, reselect any settings you had

changed and click Scan To or Scan again.
