gWLM provides conditional policies that can detect the following HP

Serviceguard conditions:

• SgReducedClusterCapacity: Detects whether any cluster members are missing

from the HP Serviceguard cluster associated with the host of the workload.

• SgNonPrimaryPackagePresent: Detects whether any HP Serviceguard

package that is active on the host of the workload does not have the host

configured as its primary node.

• SgPkgActive: Detects when the named HP Serviceguard package is active

on the host of the workload.

You can define your own policies or use one of the numerous policies that come with gWLM. You

can use one policy for multiple workloads, minimizing the number of policies, if desired.
