Deployment model 6
The following figure shows the remote data replication configuration, where data from Site A is
replicated to Site B across SAN. The HP P6000 Command View, HP P6000 Performance Data
Collector, and HP P6000 Performance Advisor instances are installed on both the management
servers.
IMPORTANT: HP strongly recommends that you install separate instances of HP P6000 Performance
Advisor in the source and target sites. Also, the HP P6000 Performance Data Collector instances
that you add in the HP P6000 Performance Advisor instances and the storage systems that are
monitored should be site-specific. For example, the HP P6000 Performance Data Collector instance
that you add in Site A should be Site A-specific and not belong to Site B. Similarly, the storage
systems that the HP P6000 Performance Advisor instance monitors in Site A should be Site A-specific
and not belong to Site B.
