Introduction
The following gives information for installing components and cabling for the HP All-in-One SB600c
Storage Solu
tion.
WARNING!
If more than one option is being installed, read the installation instructions for all the ha rdware options
and
identify similar steps to streamline the installation process.
CAUTION:
To prevent damage to electrical components, properly ground the server before beginni ng any installation
pr ocedure. Improper grounding can cause electrostatic discharge.
Processor option
WARNING!
To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow the drives and the internal system
component
s
to cool before touching them.
CAUTION:
To avoid damage to the system board:
• Do nottouch theprocessorsocketcontacts.
• Always install the processor socket cover after removing the processor from the socket.
• Do not tilt or slide the processor when lo wering the processor into the socket.
CAUTION:
To avoid damage to the processor :
• Handle the processor only by the edges.
• Do not touch the bottom of the processor, especially the contact area.
