10. Replace the cartridge in the magazine making sure that it is fully inserted.

2. Remove the autoloader from the rack.
3. Tilt it so the right side of the autoloader is facing up.
4. Gently rock the autoloader and listen for the sound of a cartridge com ing out of the magazine and
or
rattling around. If there is no loose cartridge sound then set the autoloader down and contact you
local servi
ce representative.
5. If thereisarattling sound, tilt theautoloaderso thatthe frontleftcorneristhe lowest pointand then
gently set the autoloader down on a horizontal surface.
6. Manually release and remove the left m agazine.
7. The cartridge should b e visible in the opening for the left magazine. Reach in and pull it out.
8. Replace the left magazine.
9. Manua l ly remove the right magazine.
10. Replace the cartridge in the magazine making sure that it is fully inserted.

Autoloader error codes
If an error occurs during operation of the autoloader, the autoloader stops the current operation a nd
displays an error co de on the LCD screen. Unless other wise noted in Table 11 on page 52, tr y to resolve
the
error by cycling power to the autoloader and retrying the last operation. If the error persists, contact
supportpersonnel, see“HP technical support” on page 10.
