specified S-VOL is in the either one of following two statuses:
EB7E
• The specified S-VOL is being used for the XP Business Copy pair.
• The specified S-VOL is the reserved volume.
A request of Paircreate was received. However, the command was rejected
because the emulation type of the specified S-VOL was unsupported.
EB7F
The command was rejected because the specified volume was the V-VOL
or the pool-VOL. Check the status of the volume.
EB80
A request of XP Continuous Access Journal Paircreate was received.
However, the command was rejected because the path from the secondary
EB87
storage system to the primary storage system was not set, or the S-VOL
was in the SMPL status.
The XP Continuous Access Journal pair was not created because the
specified S-VOL was in one of the following statuses:
EB88
• The specified S-VOL was being used as the XP Business Copy S-VOL.
• The specified S-VOL was Not Ready, which means that the hard disk
drive cannot be used.
A request of XP Continuous Access Journal Paircreate was received.
However, the command was rejected because the emulation types of the
specified P-VOL and S-VOL were not the same.
EB89
A request of XP Continuous Access Journal Paircreate was received.
However, the command was rejected because the emulation types of the

specified master journal group and the restore journal group were not the
same.
The XP Continuous Access Journal pair cannot be created because the
LUSE configuration of the P-VOL was different from the LUSE configuration
of the S-VOL.

A request of XP Continuous Access Journal pair status transition was
received. However, the command was rejected because the specified
pair could not transit the status.

A request of XP Continuous Access Journal pair status transition was
received. However, the command was rejected because the specified
S-VOL was not mounted on the secondary storage system.

A request of XP Continuous Access Journal Paircreate was received.
However, the command was rejected because the volume specified for
the secondary volume was in one of the following statuses:
EBA7
• Increasing the capacity by XP Thin Provisioning.
• Releasing the page of XP Thin Provisioning.
• Being initialized by XP Business Copy.
The XP Continuous Access Journal pair cannot be created because the
license capacity of Data Retention Utility in the secondary storage system
EBAF
exceeds the setting value. Check the license capacity setting of Data
Retention Utility in the secondary storage system.
The XP Continuous Access Journal pair for delta resync operation cannot
be created because the specified XP Continuous Access Journal S-VOL
was used by either one of the following two programs:

• XP FlashCopy
