Initiate RAID migration

Starting the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Console

1. Open the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Console:

Windows 8 — From the Start screen, type Intel, and then select Intel Rapid Storage

Technology.

●

Windows 7 — Select Start > All Programs > Intel > Rapid Storage Technology.

The following screen appears.

2. Continue to the appropriate RAID mode migration steps provided in the following sections:

Migrating to RAID 1 on page 14

●

Migrating to Flexible data protection (Recovery) on page 16

●

Migrating to RAID 0 on page 19

●

Migrating to RAID 5 (select models only) on page 20

Migrating to RAID 1

1. Click Create, click Real-time data protection (RAID 1), and then click Next.
