Similar to the ALTER command, there is an ADD command which adds properties to an Object. The ADD
command can be specified in the same way as the ALTER command.
NCU
This command id is used for specifying commands which retrieve instances by using non-interactive programs.
It is also used to set special FLAGS.
e.g. (disk) [READ] {USAGE} NCU <$system.sysnn>.DSAP <$proc> , SHORT
This command will execute the DSAP command, and display a short report for the <$proc> DISK. Here the
<$proc> is replaced by the instance of DISK that is being clicked through the Object Manager command
window. There are several qualifiers that can be specified while issuing the NCU command. They are listed as
below
NCU can also be used to specify a FLAGS command which indicates that an Object contains Subordinate
Objects as well as commands. To specify the FLAG command, you have to give the following command:
(object-name) [READ]{FLAG} NCU FLAG, where “object-name” refers to the object which has other
Subordinate objects as well as commands.
CUI
This command identifier is used to retrieve instances by using a command interpreter. For example, (storage)
[READ] {NAMES} CUI SCF PAGESIZE -1; NAMES SUBSYS $ZZSTO
When the above command is clicked, it will execute the command “SCF PAGESIZE -1; NAMES SUBSYS $ZZSTO”,
and the output will be shown to the user.
If the output of the CUI command needs to be formatted, then the CUI command should be prefixed with
formatting statements. If the formatting statements are not provided before the CUI command, then the
entire output of the command interpreter will be used.
<as-listed> <\node.$proc> <\node.$proc.qual>
<$proc> <$proc.qual> <$system.sysnn>
<qual> <\node> <cpunum>
