The printer software seemed to

install correctly, but the printer

name does not appear when

File > Print is selected. The printer

is not shown in the Printers folder

on the Control Panel.

The printer software was not

installed successfully.

1.Close any virus protection programs or other

software programs that are running on the

computer.

2. Insert the printer software CD into the

CD-ROM drive,

3.Follow the onscreen instructions.

If the installation program does not start

automatically, then see “to solve the

problem...” on page 13.
