NOTE: The slide extensions, in Figure 3-1, are not enclosed with the Pass-Thru
mechanism parts. They are supplied as part of the installation hardware for the slides that
come with each of the modules.
Follow the instructions in the section entitled Mechanical Installation of the
Expansion and MiniLibrary Base Modules. After the rack slides and the
MiniLibrary Base Modules are in place, and after the Pass-Thru mechanism is
assembled, you will install the Pass-Thru mechanism in the rack by attaching
the support braces
to the slide extensions using the angle brackets and
L-shaped nut plates
.
The internal parts you will need to recognize during assembly are shown in
Figure 3-2 Figure 3-3.
