Verifying WMI connectivity

To test WMI connectivity from a Storage Mirroring Reporting Center server:

1. Select

Start, Run, then enter “WBEMTest”.

2. Click

Connect.

3. Edit the following fields:

a. Change

“root\default” to \\servername\root\cimv2, where servername is the name of the

Storage Mirroring server.

b. Enter the USER and PASSWORD credentials supplied to Storage Mirroring Reporting Center for that

server node.

NOTE: The USER should be entered as “server or domain\username”

Connection will either pass or fail.
