• When you try to drag and drop multiple objects, the items may remain selected. If this happens,

repeat the drop operation.

• On rare occasions, the shape of the icon (object) does not change after the drag and drop

operation, but this is not a p roblem.

UNIX

When you use the Remote Web Console on UNIX workstations, the following additional parameters

apply:

• Remote Web Console windows:

• You cannot change the window size.

•The styles an

colors of some windows are displayed differently from those windows displayed

Windows systems.

• Mozilla browser:

•If a java_vm

process or a Mozilla browser process hangs, Remote Web Console per formance

becomes abnormal. Delete the abnormal process and continue with Remote Web Console

operations.

•When you use

the

Remote Web Console on the Japanese version of the Mozilla browser,

enter the following commands using the X Server Emulator:

Shell:

LANG=C

export

ANG

C Shell:

setenv LANG C

• After installing the JRE ﬁle on UNIX workstations, enter the following command s using the shell:

PATH=$PATH:[JRE installation directory path]/jre/bin

export

PATH

C Shell:

setenv PATH ${PATH}:[JRE installation directory path]/jre/bin

• Auto L UN window:

•You cann

drag and drop objects on the Auto LUN window. You must use the buttons instead.

• If you select the icon for the Remote Web Console ma in window when you are using Auto

LUN, the window may be wholly or partially o bscured behind the Remote Web Console main

window .

Before you can use the Remote Web Console main window, close the window by

clicking the

button. This terminates the process. To continue the p rocess, select the Auto

LUN window to bring it to the foreground.

•The Close button (

) on the Auto LUN window remains active even if you click Apply,and

the processing is being executed. If you click the

button after clicking Apply, the window

closes but p rocessing c ontinues.

•For th

ﬁrst two operations only, the word Loading... is displayed on the message dialog box

of the

Auto LUN window. This message does not appear for the third and later opera tions.

• When you use the Remote Web Console on UNIX workstations:

You cannot drag and drop objects on the LUN Ma n ager window. You must use the buttons
