The following capacities are displayed in MB when the Total Volume Capacity is 10 GB or less.

The following capacities are displayed in GB when the Total Volum e Capac it y is more than 10 GB.

• Allocated LDEV Capacity - displays the capacity of zSeries, S/390, and multiplatform volumes

(LDEVs) in the stora ge system that have assigned paths and are available to the user. The

percentage (%) to total capacity of zSeries, S/390, and multiplatform volumes is displayed in

parentheses, as well as in the pie chart indicated by the blue area (

It does not include reserved volumes of Auto LUN.

• Allocated OPEN LDEVs - displays the number of open system volumes ( LDEVs) that have assigned

paths.

Note:

Each of LD EVs that consist a LUSE volume is counted as one volume.

• Unalloc

ated

OPEN LDEVs - displays the number of open system volumes (LDEVs) that do not have

assigned pa ths.

Note:

It does not include reser ved volumes of Auto LUN.

tual disk capacity. V-VOLs are currently used for XP Snapshot and XP Thin Provisioning.

• Total (All LDEVs) - displays the sum of allocated OPEN LDEVs, unallocated OPEN L DEVs, reserved

OPEN LD EVs, allocated Mainfram e LDEVs, reserved Mainframe LDEVs, and V-VOLs.

Port Status Window

The Port Status window displays the por t information using the image of the ports mounted on the

storage system.

To open the Port Status window, log in to the Remote Web Console, and then click Go, System

Information and Port Status on the m enu bar of the Remote Web Console main window.

Note:

Storage par tition administrators ca nnot display the Por t Status window.
