CAUTION

If a prerecorded tape is refused and Write from Beginning of

Tape (BOT) is executed (No Append Write), all prerecorded

data is lost. This includes density changes, since they only

occur when writing from BOT.

4.2.1 Ways of Selecting Density

Using DLTtape IV tape the density defaults to 35.0 GB non-

compressed with compression off. The only selections for this
