Downloading log files to the SSH client
You can download or delete core fi les output by RAID Manager XP on the List of RAS Information (List
of Core Files) window provided in NAS Blade Manager. For details, see the NAS Blade Manager
User's G
uide.
To review RAID Manager XP log files, except core files, if the RAID Manager XP command terminates in
an error or to save log files before deleting them, you can download them by executing the following scp
command in the SSH client.
• For log
files that RAID Manager XP (instance number 16) output:
scp {-1|-2} -r
nasroot@fixed-IP-address-of-the-NAS-package:/home/nasroot/log16
direct
ory-name-on-the-SSH-client-to-download
• For log files that RAID Manager XP (instance number 17) output:
scp {-1|-2} -r
nasroo
t@fixed-IP-address-of-the-NAS-package:/home/nasroot/log17
directory-name-on-the-SSH-client-to-download
The following message (* means an instance number) is output and the scp command ends with return
code 1.
This means there are no problems.
