Command Line Editing
In addition to the commands listed in the previous section, the following commands can be used to
edit your command line entries:
Command Aliases
The CLI allows you to create aliases for long or complex command line entries. An alias is a string that
can represent any of the following:
a command
a command parameter
a command flag
a combination of command, parameters, and flags

Key Combination Edit Function
up arrow Enters the last command in the command line
!! <cr> Executes the last command
!<number> Executes command number <number> in the history buffer. Use the
history command to view command numbers.
