which includes the MCID (managed contract ID). HP Web Jetadmin can now use the MCID to determine
the correct UPI for a device instead of using Web Services.
NOTE: If HP Web Jetadmin discovers a device and does not use the correct UPI, enable Web Services on
the device and rediscover the device or perform a Full Refresh.
13. Users can now see the supply levels for a device on the Status tab without having the correct
credentials.
14. The title of the Enable Host USB conguration option has been changed to Enable Host USB plug and
play so that it aligns with the EWS. This conguration option is available in the Security category on the
Cong tab.
15. The title of the Open/Print from USB Device conguration option has been changed to Enable Retrieve/
Print from USB so that it aligns with the EWS. This conguration option is available in the Device
category on the Cong tab.
16. On the IPsec/Firewall Policy conguration option, the title of the Add Rules button has been changed to
Add / Modify Rules. The online Help for the IPsec/Firewall Policy conguration option has been
updated to include instructions for modifying rules.
17. On the Firmware tab, the default width for the rst column, Printer Firmware - Severity, has been
increased to encourage users to add this column to the device lists to verify if the printer rmware is up-
to-date. The online Help for the Firmware tab has been updated with details about the dierences
between the Printer Firmware - Severity and Printer Firmware - Available columns.
18. REMINDER: When HP Web Jetadmin 10.3 SR4 was released, UPIs were introduced to support the
majority of the recently released HP devices and future HP devices. This means that HP Web Jetadmin
does not have to be upgraded to a newer version to display devices that can be displayed by using any of
the UPI classes.
A UPI represents specic products by device class and contains a superset of features and capabilities.
The superset of features and capabilities might or might not apply to all of the products that the UPI
supports.
