1. Determine if your proxy environment (env) variable settings are incorrect.
The variable must be:

• Prefixed with https:// rather than http://.
• Correctly formatted. For example:
https_proxy=https://web-proxy.anyserver1.com:8080
• CRITICAL: Exception

2. Reset your proxy environment variable using correct formatting.
