1. Port Attention Indicator: The yellow triangle ( ) indicates that a link incident

occurred or that the port is not operational, in nonstandard mode of operation, or

has other status. For a link incident, the status table at the top of the Hardware

View changes to reflect the reason for the alert. You can also note the reason by

displaying the Port Properties dialog box for the port. For details on status

symbols, refer to Table 2–1 on page 2-38. For information on link incidents, refer

to Link Incident Alerts on page 2-40.
