spanning-tree forward-time <seconds>

Use the spanning-tree forward-time command to specify the delay interval (in seconds) when forwarding

spanning-tree packets. Use the no form of this command to return to the default interval.

Syntax Description

<seconds> Forward delay interval in seconds (Range: 4 to 30).

Default Values

<seconds> 15 seconds

Command Modes

(config)# Global Configuration Mode required

Usage Examples

The following example sets the forwarding time to 15 seconds:

(config)#spanning-tree forward-time 15
