• Change the size of the font used in the Meridian MAX supervisor
screens.
• MTE also provides multiple language support and allows frequently
used key sequences to be automated using programmable buttons.
MTE installation requirements — DOS environment
The minimum requirements to use MTE in a DOS environment are
• Microsoft MS-DOS (Version 5 or higher)
• MTE 5.32 or lower
• EGA or VGA card with 256 kbytes and a color monitor
• minimum 384 kbytes of RAM
• a LAN connection (if using a network)
• one serial (RS-232) communication port for connection to the
Meridian MAX
• one parallel or serial port for attaching a local printer (optional)
• one 5.25” or 3.5” floppy disk drive
MTE installation requirements — Windows environment
The minimum requirements to use MTE in a Windows environment are
• Meridian MAX 5.27
• MTE 6 or higher
• Windows Release 3.1 (with a 386 DX 20 MHz IBM-compatible PC),
or Windows NT Release 3.51 (with a 486 DX 33 MHz
IBM-compatible PC)
MTE 7 and higher also work with Windows 95 (with a
486 DX 33 MHz IBM-compatible PC).
• a VGA card with a color monitor
• 1 Mbyte of available RAM
• 2 Mbytes of available hard disk space
• modem, one serial (RS-232) communication port for connection to the
Meridian MAX, or a LAN connection (if using a network). If you are
using a LAN connection, you must also have WinSock 1.1 compliant
network operating software.
