The system displays the following:

PORT 0

Note:

Port 0 is the only port which may be configured as an HSL or

LML.

16 Label the port by entering a name of up to 16 alphanumeric characters

in length.

The system displays the following prompt:

BPS

17 Enter 9600 to set the baud rate.

The system displays the following prompt:

PARY

18 Enter NONE to set the parity type.

The system displays the following prompt:

BITL

19 Enter 8 to set the data bit length.

The system displays the following prompt:

PARM

20 Enter R232 DTE to set the interface and transmission mode.

The system displays the following prompt:

FUNC

21 Enter {RETURN} to set the MSDL card function.

The system displays the following prompt:

USER

22 Enter HSL to designate the port and set the output message types for

HSL, or enter ACD to designate the port and set the output message

types for LML.

If you designate the port for the HSL, go to Step 26.

If you designate the port for the LML, the system displays the following

prompt:

CUST
