Identifying the starting slot location

The card slots occupied by the Meridian MAX - IPE/IPE-Enhanced Module on

the Meridian 1 switch

(TN format) are : UNKNOWN

The Starting TN is the format ’lll s cc’ , where

lll (loop number) = 0–159

s (shelf number) = 0–3

cc ( card number) = 0–18

Please enter the new starting location of the Meridian MAX - IPE/IPE-E

Enhanced Module

(TN format).

(Just press ENTER to quit):

10 Enter the starting slot location for the Meridian MAX - IPE/IPE-E,

followed by {RETURN}.

Be sure to insert a space between each digit of the slot number (for

example, 0 0 4).

Note:

If you have an Option 11, the three consecutive slots are needed.

If you have an Option 21–81, four consecutive slots are required.

Once you have entered the starting slot location, the following message

appears at the bottom of the screen:

The starting location of the Meridian MAX –

IPE/IPE-Enhanced Module on the Meridian 1 switch is changed

to xxx x xx

The system then returns to the Alter / View Meridian MAX

IPE/IPE-Enhanced Module Information screen shown in Step 6.
