CHOICE CHOICE CONFIG SETUP
3 Use your arrow keys to cursor to the Port field under Printer Setup.
Press [NEXT CHOICE] to choose the type of connection you wish to
use.
If you want a serial connection, choose either COM1 or COM2. Set
Baud Rate to 9600, Stop Bits to 1, and Parity to NONE. These are the
default values and should not be changed.
If you want a parallel connection, choose either LPT1 or LPT2.
4 Press [SAVE CONFIG] to save your changes.
5 Press [EXIT SET-UP] to exit the set-up screen.
6 Notify Meridian MAX that the PC has a local printer by logging in to the
system as a supervisor and pressing {CTRL}{P} to display the local
printer control window, as shown in Figure 7-2.
