Configuring the Load Management Link on the Meridian 1
To configure the Load Management Link on the Meridian 1, follow the
steps in Procedure 12-4.
Procedure 12-4
To configure the Load Management Link on the Meridian 1
1 Check the options on the Serial Data Interface (SDI) circuit pack.
Follow the instructions in
Circuit Card Installation and Testing
(NTP 553-3001-211) for the type of SDI circuit pack being used.
Check the High-Speed Link cable. If the Meridian 1 High-Speed Link
port is configured as DCE, use the NT7D99AA null modem cable. If it is
configured as DTE, use the NT7D61 or the NT7D58 straight cable.
Refer to the “Hardware installation: Application Module (SNN/SNN-E)”
chapter for more information.
If your Meridian 1 switch is running X11 Release 18 or lower, the
Meridian MAX port needs to be set for the following:
Port Address: x
The range for x is 1 to 15.
2 Interface: xxx
Arrange the port for a modem interface (DTE to DCE).
3 Data Transfer Rate:
Enter 9600 baud as the data transfer rate (baud rate).
If your Meridian 1 switch is running X11 Release 18, go to Step 10.
4 When upgrading from an ACD C1 or C2 package (the ACD reporting
system), all data specifically related to Management reports, ACD
printers, and Supervisor terminals (except senior supervisor terminals
already using Load Management Link) must be deleted from the current
Meridian 1 database prior to programming the database to support the
Meridian MAX reporting system.
If you are not upgrading from an ACD C1 or C2 package, go to Step 6.
The programming is the same as that for the D package options which
enable the ADS block.
5 To remove the Schedule Block (SCB) load Overlay 23. Remove any
devices defined at the STIO prompt from every queue. You must
remove them in each ACD-DN block.
To “out” or “remove” devices from the STIO prompt, for each queue, set
the following prompts as shown:
TYPE ACD
