12 The system displays the following prompt for an unsuccessful file

transfer:

!!! Transfer of configuration file failed. !!!

Select an action from the following list:

>1. Retry the transfer operation

2. Ignore the failure (a configuration file is available)

3. Select a different terminal type

4. NAC Remote Supervisor Login (a configuration file is

available)

Selection ––>

13 If you enter 1, the system takes you to the prompts shown for Step 7,

after which successive steps follow.

Select 2 if the meridian.cfg file is already on the PC workstation, then

go to Step 19.

If you select 3, return to the prompts shown in Step 1, after which

successive steps follow.

Select 4 if you are using the NAC Remote Login feature, then go to

Step 19.

14 If your workstation is a PC running MTE using DOS, press both left and

right {SHIFT} keys simultaneously to access the terminal emulator

configuration setup screen.

If your workstation is a PC running MTE 6 using Windows, refer to the

Meridian Terminal Emulator 6 User Guide

options” section, to access the session option screen.

If your workstation is a PC running MTE 7 using Windows, refer to the

Meridian Terminal Emulator 7 User Guide

(P0821303), “Setting session

options” section, to access the session option screen. You can also use

the MTE 7 online help for instructions on setting your session options.

The Communication and Printer Port Parameters Configuration screen

appears.
