42 Enter xx to specify the number of the predefined MSDL SDI TTY from
Step 41.
If you have an Option 81 system, the system displays the following
prompts:
CTYP MSDL
GRP
Go to Step 43.
If you have a system other than an Option 81, the system displays the
following prompts:
CTYP MSDL
DNUM
Go to Step 44.
43 Enter 0 to specify the network group number for Option 81 systems.
The system displays the following prompts where the device number is
represented by xx:
DNUM xx
ADMIN PORT 0
LANGUAGE ENGLISH
ADDITIONAL PORT
44 Enter the MSDL port number you have designated to connect to
Meridian MAX. This entry could be either P1, P2, or P3 depending on
the selected MSDL port.
If you need to delete one of the additional ports you have added, place
an x before the port number such as XP2.
45 Enter **** to exit Overlay program 17.
46 Enter LD 22 to access Overlay program 22 to verify the configuration
changes made in Overlay program 17.
47 Enter LD 48 to access Overlay program 48 to enable the STA port.
48 Enter ENL STA xx to enable the STA port. The device number is
represented by xx.
49 Enter STAT STA xx to verify that the MSDL port is enabled. The device
number is represented by xx.
50 Enter **** to exit Overlay program 48.
51 At this point, the STA main menu appears on your STA administration
terminal screen. If the screen does not appear immediately, press
{RETURN} several times and the screen should appear.
